Sustainability has become a prominent concern in the last decade of the 21st century. In 2015, global leaders acknowledged the significance of establishing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to create a better world by 2030.

Our journey aligns with the SDGs, marked by our 2017 initiation of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) to shift our entire product range to 100% BCI cotton. We actively reduce carbon footprints in our technical fabric supply chain, benefiting the environment, farming communities, and cotton-producing economies.

Daletec is committed to reduce overall 40% of its CO2e emissions by the end of 2030 and ultimately achieving NET ZERO by 2050.

2023: By the end of year 2023 we will reduce our 10% CO2e emissions as compared to baseline year 2016 by replacing the coal with Sustainable Biomass at our cogeneration power plant.

2025: In next step, we will add more biomass feeding units to enhance the uptake of biomass by 10%. Hence, we will collectively reduce 20% of CO2e emission this year.

2027: In this year, we will further add biomass feeding units in our cogeneration power plant to enhance 10% more feeding of the sustainable biomass in place of coal. We will achieve 30% emissions reduction collectively.

2030: In the final step, we will reduce 40% CO2c emission reductions by replacing coal with sustainable biomass.

Daletec’s production facility boasts OEKO-TEX STeP Class 3 certification and delivers sustainable textile products under the OEKO-TEX 100 label.

Transitioning to BCI cotton is part of our strategy, focusing on high-quality flame-retardant products while minimizing environmental impact.
